PCLI July 10-14, 2022

We have experienced seismic shifts in daily life, in practicing and living our Catholic faith, and in connecting with those whom we serve. How do we make sense of these changes? What do they require of us as catechetical leaders? How do we plan in the midst of uncertainty?

To help explore these and similar questions, the planning team adjusted the format and content of PCLI to include plenary sessions, and more reflection time – both for individuals and for the different cohorts. There will be specific gatherings for our Year 1, 2, & 3 Cohorts, to keep people moving through the three-year process and graduates will form a single group for these gatherings as well.

Come, connect and reconnect with fellow parish catechetical leaders; rest, renew and recharge yourself on the beautiful campus of Saint Meinrad Archabbey!
We welcome PCLI “graduates,” as well.

Developed in partnership with the Dioceses of Evansville and Owensboro, Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology offers an intensive formation opportunity to equip you for catechetical leadership in the 21st century:

  • based on the four dimensions of formation outlined in Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord for lay ecclesial ministers
  • guided by the National Directory for Catechesis, and
  • aligned with the National Certification Standards for Catechetical Leaders. The three-year cycle of five-day intensive workshops addresses intellectual, human, spiritual and pastoral formation, and provides a bridge between theory and practical applications.

INSTITUTE FACULTY

Presenters include faculty members of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, diocesan leaders and specialists in pastoral ministry.
