Prophets and Promise: Exploring the Promise of the Messiah

Come join St. Raphael Parish for a Bible study on Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, as Prophets of Promise. The writing contained in these four prophetic books offer much insight about the longed-for Messiah. As we experience the conclusion of the liturgical year, and prepare for Advent, take time to examine Scripture again as we renew our hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Join us Wednesdays in November, 7:00-8:15 pm in the Raphael Room*, to explore of message of these prophets and what they mean for us today.

November 2 – Isaiah

November 9 – Jeremiah

November 16 – Ezekiel

November 23 – Daniel

The sessions will be presented by St. Raphael parishioner, Tom Malewitz. Tom is an Assistant Professor at Spalding University. He has also served as an adjunct instructor at Bellarmine University, Brescia University, and St. Meinrad Seminary & School of Theology. He is a frequent presenter for the Archdiocese of Louisville on topics regarding religious education, Scripture, and spirituality.

*The Raphael Room is located on the lower level of the Sheeran Center and the entrance and parking is on the side facing Assumption High School.  You will see yellow handrails going down the stairs to the entrance.
