This session will explore Pope Francis’s 2019 letter to young people. Overshadowed by the 2020 pandemic, this letter continues to offer insights into a reengagement for youth and their relationship with Christ in the 21st century. Focus will also be paid to discuss several holy men and women who are exemplars of faith for youth and young adults mentioned in the letter, as well as the Pontiff’s insight into the digitalization of culture.

This course will focus on the catechetical process in passing on the faith, introduce some of the distinguishing characteristics of the Catholic Church, review the process of Catechist Formation, and introduce practical resources from the Office of Faith Formation.
